Grey Fox Shoulder Mount: Course includes all supplies and instruction for mounting a grey fox. This is a one day course, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. You will take a 30 minute break around noon, in order to allow the skin and clay rest. Cost is $150. You must have completed the squirrel course in order to take this course.

Coon Skin Hat: Course includes all supplies and instruction on fleshing and tanning a raccoon pelt, and making a coon-skin hat. Cost is $50. You do not need any previous courses in order to take this course.

This is not a cookie-cutter course. Each course, depending on the student's experience, will vary by several hours. I recommend allowing 3 hours for the first part, and 2 hour for the second part. Because of the tanning process, you need to allow one week between the first and second part. You will take your pelt home at the end of the first day, and will continue to "work the leather" during the week. You will return with your pelt the following week to complete your hat.

Beaver Hoop: Course includes all supplies and instructions for making a beaver hoop. This course will be held outdoors and largely contingent on the weather. We will begin at 10 a.m. by collecting grapevines to make the hoop. Students will work largely independently after the initial hooping, and can add as little or as much decor as they like. I will provide feathers, drilled buffalo teeth, raccoon baculum, beads, leather lacing, fur scraps, and various colors of hemp string. I recommend Googling "beaver hoop" and getting ideas for things you may want to add to your hoop, and bringing whatever I don't supply. Cost is $40. You do not need any previous courses in order to take this course.
